Today I was delighted to learn that I was an award winner in the prestigous 2008 International Aperture Awards. The 3 images below were all award-winning in the wedding category. This was particularly pleasing because the standard of entry – including some fantastic photography from Australia and the USA – was extremely high. Only 3 of us from GB made the top 50. I was delighted to learn that 2 more of my images have been granted Gold Awards in the SWPP National Photography Competition for October. The first image below was successful in the Traditional Wedding Category and the second in the Family Portraits and Groups category. They will now both go forward to the annual awards at the end of year.
Cranleigh School was the venue for Sarah and Fergus’s wedding on 18 October 2008. It was a cold day for the bride, but the school is a lovely setting in the autumn’s low sun.
