Katy and Adrian’s wedding at the Bingham Hotel in Richmond, Surrey was on 12 June – the day England kicked off their world cup campaign against the USA. The only hiccup was the that we couldn’t take the planned photos by the river - because the riverside path outside the hotel became heavily flooded at the critical time. Still a great day in lovely sunshine.
The weather was awful for Joanne and Hai’s wedding at Denbies Vineyard on 29 May…..not that that represents a problem for my style of photography! They were a great couple to work with – and we are looking forward to seeing them again after their honeymoon.
Kelly and Daren’s wedding took place at the Woodlands Park Hotel on 5 June. (We live near Epsom Downs, so it was a great relief to get away from the intensity of the Derby). Kelly, in particular, was initially nervous about being photographed – but they both look amazing in the results.
Last Sunday saw us return to the Alexander House Hotel in Sussex, for Melissa and Oliver’s wedding. This venue only knows one type of weather – and that is glorious sunshine. This was a nice, quiet, intimate wedding and the couple clearly enjoyed themselves. Now they have to prepare for their Mauritius wedding in August!
Gary was delighted to win another Gold Award this month – this time for the image of Kiren and Fin at One Whitehall Place in London. The SWPP hold an international photography competition every month to showcase the best in portrait and wedding photography – and this photo will go forward to the annual judging at the end of 2010.
