Emily and Paul’s wedding took place at St Andrew’s Church in Ferring and later Cisswood House in Sussex. Just weeks after a similar incident, the bride was again 45 minutes late for the church! Though this time it wasn’t the driver losing his way, but a more complicated story. But they otherwise had a wonderful day.
Another challenging day – weather-wise – on 13 August; but we were all determined to take in the lavender fields in between the church ceremony (All Saints, Banstead) and South Lodge reception in Horsham, Sussex. Despite the rain, Karen and Nick enjoyed the photography and had a fantastic day overall.
Last Sunday saw us return to the Alexander House Hotel in Sussex, for Melissa and Oliver’s wedding. This venue only knows one type of weather – and that is glorious sunshine. This was a nice, quiet, intimate wedding and the couple clearly enjoyed themselves. Now they have to prepare for their Mauritius wedding in August!
Alexander House Hotel is a lovely, intimate, Sussex venue and fabulously relaxing for a wedding party. Jenna and Ollie’s date was on 24 April and they were lucky enough to enjoy another full day of sun. Although there were a few guest absent due to the volcano flight crisis, they still had a wonderful day.
Rain was the order of the day again at South Lodge on 11 July. But Chen and Dave – and their guests – had a fantastic time. I hope they have a wonderful holiday in Malaysia.
Caroline and Andy’s wedding took place amidst glorious sunshine on 30 May. Alexander House in West Sussex – after the service at St Swithun’s, East Grinstead – was again a new venue for me. Another great place for wedding photography.
Nicola and James’ wedding took place on 3 January 2009 at the Langham Hotel, Eastbourne and Florence House, Seaford. It was a bitterly cold day, but the we enjoyed the low winter sun on the south coast. I hope they have a lovely honeymoon in New York.
Carris and Olly’s wedding took place on 4 July 2008 at St Andrew’s church and Wiston House, Steyning. It was a pleasure photographing their day and I hope they have a lovely honeymoon.
